Estimates

  • Before we proceed with scheduling a consultation, we require a 10-15 minute phone conversation to ensure that we are the right fit for your project. During this call, we will provide you with an overview of the typical costs associated with projects similar to yours. If the quoted price range aligns with your expectations, we can then move forward with scheduling an onsite consultation.

Please note that our estimates are comprehensive and require significant time and effort to prepare. As such, we are selective about the clients to whom we offer estimates. While there is no obligation to hire us, we reserve the estimation process for those who are ready to move forward with scheduling.

A few things to note before reaching out:

    • We require a minimum of one week per project.

    • The home you're asking us to estimate should either be owned by you or currently in escrow.

  • For most projects, we provide a quote within 1-4 days. Since every project varies in size and complexity, some estimates may take a little longer, but we’ll always keep you informed.

A few important points about our pricing:

    • We offer competitive bids tailored to the specifics of each job, not influenced by your zip code. Our commitment to fair pricing means you’ll receive the same great rates, no matter the neighborhood. However, please note that in certain locations, especially those that are more challenging to access, particularly during the winter months, a trip charge may need to be included in the final price.

    • We never underbid just to win the project. Be cautious of contractors who do this and later add surprise charges.

    • We don’t believe in high-pressure sales tactics. We respect your timeline and budget, ensuring you feel comfortable with every step of the process.

Processes

  • Not at all! While we’re experienced in projects of all sizes, we truly enjoy working on small to midrange remodels. Our core customers are hardworking, everyday homeowners, and we take pride in delivering quality results for a wide range of budgets. However, we avoid small “handyman” tasks unless we are already in the home working on a sizable project.

  • Yes, we can handle the entire permit process for you, including scheduling inspections and coordinating with inspectors.

  • Yes, we establish a clear timeframe for each project and are committed to completing it on schedule. While every project is unique, we pride ourselves on staying on track and keeping you informed throughout the process.

Collaboration

  • While we don’t have a full-time in-house designer, we can provide 3D modeling and basic renderings for simpler projects. For larger or more complex projects, we’re happy to recommend a few highly professional designers we trust.

  • Absolutely! We are more than happy to collaborate directly with your designer to ensure a seamless integration of ideas and execution for your project.

  • While we manage much of the work in-house, we do utilize subcontractors for specific aspects of the project, such as electrical, plumbing, drywall, and glass work. Our experience has taught us that these specialized tasks are best handled by experts who focus on these trades daily, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency for your project.

  • We don't work directly with insurance companies. However, we can provide a detailed bid for you as the homeowner, which you can then submit to your insurance company for approval.
